Thanks for this collection of unique website navigation designs. It’s a shame the majority of them are created using Flash, however I’m sure similar effects could be achieved with jQuery plugins and the right know-how. My favourite from the list is http://www.hydroholistic.com/ which uses a nice clean layout and presents the user with a brief description of each page link using tooltips.

I would agree that these menu designs are nothing but a work of genius. However a balance has to be made as sometimes the content may prolong the loading time of a page. Some of the flash websites can be replicated in HTML5, with the help of jQuery plugins and so forth.
