Glass Texture Effect

Learn how to give a glass texture effect to an image using Photoshop CS.

Step 1

Open an image on your canvas by clicking on File>Open and selecting an image to open.

Step 2

Click on Filter>Distort> Glass. The Glass properties window appears. On the right you can see the settings and values that I've used.

Glass
Distortion - 9
Smoothness - 4
Texture - Canvas
Scaling - 100%
Click on OK.

You can check out your image by changing these values if you wish to.



Step 3

This is my result, a glass texture given to the picture.
