Canva is a user-friendly design platform that can make the process of creating a vision board easy and enjoyable. In this tutorial, we will guide you step-by-step on how to create a beautiful and personalized vision board in Canva. So, let’s get started!

Step 1: Login to Canva and type ‘vision board’ in the search. You can also search for ‘vision board desktop wallpaper’.

Step 2: Select a template you want from the options provided. We will select the desktop wallpaper template as we want to design a Vision Board that we will use as desktop wallpaper.

Step 3: Click on the ‘Customize this template’ button. You may prefer to choose another template from the ‘More like this’ section as well.

Step 4: Find pictures that represent what you want. You can search from Canva elements or upload your own.

Step 5: Drag and drop the pictures to replace the photos in the vision board template. You can adjust the sizes of the pictures and delete elements you don’t want as well. Edit the text with your vision board text. You can also add more text boxes if you like.

Step 6: Congratulations! You have created your very own vision board. Download and set it as your desktop wallpaper.

Step 7: Create another version of your vision board for your phone wallpaper or lock screen. Click the resize button. Search for ‘phone wallpaper’. Select the ‘phone wallpaper’ option and click the ‘copy and resize’ button. Another copy of the vision board will be created in the phone wallpaper size. Resize your images and text so that they look good in the phone wallpaper size.

Step 8: Resize your images and text so that they look good in the phone wallpaper size. You may want to replace some of the images and text as well. Download and use your vision board design as your phone wallpaper or lock screen. Hope all your dreams come true!

Tips on Creating a Vision Board Desktop Wallpaper:

Think about what you want. Eg. In my case I wanted – Healthy Lifestyle, Healing, Worship, Travel, Family Togetherness, Happiness, and Enjoying Nature.
Gather images and quotes that represent your vision for each area. Eg. As seen in the vision board above I have selected photos that represented the themes mentioned in Point 1. As I created this vision board at the beginning of the year it also serves as my vision for the year 2023, which is why I chose the text ‘2023’. See the graphic below for more ideas on how images and text can be arranged.
Use a design tool or app to create a collage of the images and quotes. Eg. Canva.
Make sure the design is visually appealing and easy to read.
Set the collage as your desktop wallpaper to serve as a daily reminder of your goals and aspirations. Keeping your vision board in a place where you will see it regularly is key. Setting it as your desktop wallpaper is ideal if you use your computer/ laptop regularly. You could also create a vision board phone wallpaper version for your phone wallpaper or lockscreen.
