In this tutorial you will learn how to create an awesome artistic paint brush effect on an image in Canva in 2 minutes! You also create many images like this to create an artistic collage in Canva.
Let’s get started.
Step 1 – Go to Canva and click on the Create a design button found on the top right. You can choose an size you want (for this tutorial I have chosen an Instagram story).
Step 2 – Go to Elements seen on the left and scroll to Frames.
Type brush in the search bar and you will see the following frames.
Step 3 – Drag and drop images from Elements. Here I have searched for woman and added the images by simply dragging the image into the frame. You can see the image in the frame when the frame turns purple as seen below. I have dragged the image from the photos seen on the left.
Drag the photo into the frame to get the artistic brush stroke effect on the image.
It’s literally that easy! You can also upload your own images by clicking on the upload button on the left and drag the image into the frame.
You can add several images in different brush stroke frames and create a collage as seen below.
